Year 2: Integrated Curriculum

• Cut out pictures from junk mail catalogues to illustrate a healthy school lunch.
• Watch and draw the phases of the moon for one week.
• Plant a seedling in your garden. How will you care for it? Keep a record of its growth.
• Go through your toy box. How many different ways can you classify your toys?
• Use an atlas to locate the country of origin of your family.
• Interview the oldest member of your family about when they went to school. What things were the same? What things were different?
• Ask a family member to show you where you live on a map in the street directory. Can you find where your school is? The park? Your friend’s house?
• Can you name “10’ different sports? Ask an adult to see if they can do the same.
