Carranballac P-9 College utilises an online lunch ordering system, QuickCliq. Families are required to register their children with QuickCliq to take advantage of online ordering.
To place your child's lunch order before 9am each day, click here to be redirected to the QuickCliq website.
We do not accept cash lunch orders. Please register your family on the QuickCliq website.
Our Canteens, at Boardwalk and Jamieson Way, operate under the National Healthy School Canteens Guidelines to support students to make healthy food choices at school and in life.
Our Canteen may make changes to menu items each term. Please refer to the relevant term menu on the QuickCliq website for the most up to date information.
The Canteen values the help of its volunteers who assist with the preparation of lunch orders and with over-the-counter sales at both recess and lunch times. If you can help please contact the college on 9395 3533.
You will need a valid "Volunteer Working With Children" Police Check. We can assist you in applying for this process.
The Carranballac College Canteen supports and provides safe healthy food and drink options for all students and staff by following the Department of Education School Canteens Food Service Policy every school day for snack and lunch.
This policy categorises foods and drinks into three categories:
Green: Everyday Amber: Select Carefully Red: Occasionally
Our Menu reflects these categories through our online ordering system Quickcliq using relevant colour coding next to food and drink items. Our aim is to encourage a good behavioural strategy rather than a diet.
We comply with the requirements under the Food Act and Australian Food Standards to ensure the food and drink we sell are safe to consume.
For ALL students and staff to have access to healthy everyday food choices.
The time at school accounts for at least 30% of our daily food and drink requirements, highlighting that the food purchased in the Canteen makes a significant contribution to students and staffs total food intake and nutrition.
