At Carranballac P–9 College, we believe every student deserves to feel known, valued and connected. Belonging is central to our work because students learn best when they feel safe to participate, confident to ask questions and supported to challenge themselves.

Carranballac is a diverse and inclusive Prep to Year 9 College operating across two campuses. Our students and families bring many cultures, languages, experiences, and perspectives to our community. This diversity enriches our college and helps our students learn to respect difference, understand others, and find their own place within a connected community.

We combine strong relationships with high expectations for learning. Our teachers work to understand each student’s strengths, needs and aspirations so they can provide the right balance of support and challenge. We want every student to experience success while also being encouraged to reach further than they thought possible.

Across their Carranballac journey, students have opportunities to explore their interests and develop their talents through classroom learning, sport, music, student leadership, secondary electives, and pathways that prepare them for the next stage of their education. As a Prep to Year 9 College, we have the privilege of supporting children through some of the most important years of their development, from their first days at school to their emergence as capable and increasingly independent young people in Year 9.
