2027 Year 7 Enrolments
If your child is seeking a Year 7 place at Carranballac next year, the pathway depends on where they're currently enrolled:
- Current Carranballac Year 6 students continuing to Year 7
- Year 6 students at another Victorian government school
- Students currently at a Catholic or independent school
- Interstate, overseas, or newly arrived students
Statewide Year 6 to 7 Placement Timeline
- Your child's current primary school distributes the Year 6 to 7 Placement Information Pack to all Year 6 families by 2nd April.
- Submit the Application for Year 7 Placement to your child's primary school by 8th May.
- Primary schools notify families of their child's Year 7 placement offer by 24th June.
- Students take part in an Orientation Day — see below.
Applications submitted after 8th May will be processed by Carranballac as they're received, in accordance with the Department's Placement Policy.

Time: 4:00 PM – 5:00 PM

Tuesday 8 December
2027 Year 7 student spends whole day at Carranballac from 8:45am – 3pm
